Type E / Rocket Box and Type 9
Does anyone know if the Type E / Rocket / RS2000 gearboxes has the same bellhousing pattern as the Type 9?
My gut feeling is 'no', but thought I'd better ask.

I've got a spare type 9 I can lend you if you need it to check (I'll need it back as it may need to go in my dax someday....)

Thanks for the offer Robert... I've a Type 9 (with bell housing) sat in my garage. I also had a Rocket Box casing up until a few weeks ago and
it never occurred to me to check the two side by side!

I had a type E in mine and swapped to a type 9. The only changes I had to make were a new gearbox x-member (further back and lower on the type 9) and
a different gear lever. All the other parts were a direct swap. Propshaft was OK in mine but the type 9 is 6mm longer so beware if your prop is an
exact fit.
