which fuel pump.
Dear collective brain,
I am looking for opinions on which type of fuel pump I should fit.
I have an 1800 Zetec on twin 40's
Fuel regulator fitted
Currently using a barrel shaped "red top" pump.
The current pump has started to 'Knock', even if the tank is full and filters clean.
Do I replace this with another "red top" or fit a solid state one from Facet?
Thanks.
Jack

I prefer the "huco" pump as sold by webcon for webers. No need for a regulator.

I used one of Triumph STAG ** ELECTRONIC FUEL PUMP ** NEW MGB etc Kit car on my bike carbed zetec, on the triple weber E
Type, and now its running the twin SUs.
Never missed a beat, and its an interrupter, so stops ticking when the float valves close, there's a tick every 10 - 20 seconds when the engines
running, but its not audible when driving.
