yeah , in the 80s , volvo had a motorsport operation called R sport , they made accesories for all the models , like 240 turbo etc Volvo sold R sport
to SAM steffanson in the mid to late 80s . They were basically were setup so that volvo could win the ETCC , ATCC , and the european rallycross
championship
