Zetec Install question ( yet again!!! )

All,

I have a question about which clutch to use with th e 1.8 zetec and a MT75 gearbox.

When we pulled the 1.8 out of the Orion, it fitted first time over the splines of the MT75. We then decided to order a new clutch, so we got an escort ( apparently, according to the motor factors, the orion never had the zetec... ) 1.8 but the drive plate spline hole was too small.

Can someone give me a definitive answer to this. what clutch components do i need?

thanks

download QH clutch catalogue:

You should be able to check number of splines and match plates to covers and release bearings.

I did zetec to type nine and used mondeo cover and plate and capri release bearing.

plus this is useful:

Seem to be a number of ways of doing this combo --- this url gives info on using a FWD stryle clutch rather than going the Sierra clutch route.
