Hi Jonte, i fyou do a search for Megasquirt on this site or through Google/Alta Vista on the web, that shoudl give you some info on an alternative.
If it is not fuel injected, look for Megajolt.

It is worth having a look at the info on Dave Andrews excellent Robin Hood site on this subject. I don't have the url to hand thinks its on
AOL but a quick Google for" Dave Andrews" "Robin Hood" usually turns it up.
(Funny thing but the word "excellent" is never used in the same sentence as "Robin Hood" unless proceeded by "Dave
Andrews"

question is , how good do you want the control ? , most ecu sellers will say you have a certain amount of cells (map bins) that you can plot and the
computer interpolates in between , the less cells you have the less accurate ( although debatable) . megasuirt is now 16x16 map , so as good as some
of the cheap systems out there , the more expensive have extra maps , MBE has 20 for fuel control/boost . If you can do simple soldering - MS will
suffice - if you can only plug stuff together - youll need to buy a system and wiring loom . saying that , you can always learn !

pretty much any of the aftermarket management systems will "work with a pinto" it's a question of what do you want!?
Emerald are good, simple to use, very good software, so are DTA, MBE are good systems but in my opinion (and I use them) they use a
"strange" software setup that is not so easy to get to grips with. Lumentition are ok, so are may others. At the expensive end, motec are
brilliant.
There are many many systems to choose from, OMEX are certainly not the only ones!!!!!! Saying that, somebody I know has recently set up as an omex
dealer so perhaps I should promote him!!
Try Steve Walford Motorsport, birmingham!

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
