Can't get neutral on zx12r
Hi,
Finally got my autograss class 8 built up and running.
I can't get into neutral either running or not running played with linkage and no luck.
I put the pressure plate on incorrectly (didn't realise they went in a certain position)
When I had the plate in wrong I could get neutral easy but now plate is in correctly I can't get neutral.
When plate was in wrong I had no pedal pressure but now pedal is hard with pressure
But confused what to do now

Try disconnecting the linkage to take that out of the equation. You will probably need to rock the car back and forth to enable the change. But first,
make sure you are going the right way - when i got my engine in, I didn't realise the mechanism was reversed compared to my previous setup. So
i was trying to pull away in 6th, and unable to find neutral!

That sounds familiar, when I blew my 893 blade engine and replaced with a 919 I fought to find neutral for ages, all reversed as they ran a linkage on
later bikes

For the benefit of anyone else having issues in future, it'd be useful to let us know what the issue was.

Rocked car back and forth with linkage disconnected and wiggled to find first then back one and got neatral. Setting up gear linkage took ages to find
the right postion so a lot of rocking back and forth to get neatral again
