RV8 Oil Stave under heavy braking

Out in my car yesterday and I decided to test the brakes with a mild emergency stop. Under heavy braking my oil pressure warning light flicks on. I assume this is do to oil starvation when all the oil surges to the front of the sump. I guess a range rover sump isn't designed for seven style braking! Not sure its a problem under general driving but if I decided on a trackway.

Would a baffled sump cure this and is it my only option?

Is the oil level correct?

Range rovers were designed to chug up and down 45 degree slopes so im a bit surprised that the oil pick up is getting starved.

Is yours a chopped sump?

Presumably you are in gear when braking so is the oil light coming on due to low revs?

never noticed a drop in oil pressure in mine, perhaps I haven't braked hard enough!

just a thought, you sure the dip stick is the right length?

have you got an oil cooler ? is it possible to get an air lock if it isn't full of oil? (I didn't install mine so have no idea!)
