hello are idf carbs any good for xflow cheers happy new year to all

IDF's are downdraft carbs and would require a great big bonnet bulge to accomodate them, and I can't think of anybody that makes a manifold to accept them. DCOE's are much easier to fit.

Me thinks a manifold was available for the MK1 Fiesta XR2 but it ain't worth the effort.

Theres a manifold on Ebay at the moment for downdraughts to a crossflow, dont think it would be any good on a locost though.

my idear is if i had down drafts carbs when i remove bonet it filters wont get damaged by bonnet some friends of mine have same problem ripping sponge on bonnet dont mind bulge aslong as worth efort are the idf carbs as easy to tune as dcoe cheers happy new year to all
