Zetec Earth Strap
Hi,
Do i need an earth strap on the zetec block? My existing loom from the Xflow has an earth strap to the type 9 bellhousing on the gearbox so do I need
the block as well?

I would, the better the earth, the better the spark. Also some of the sensors are earthed through the block.

I'd have at least 2 straps, if only one is fitted and it breaks, the full current will flow down components like your accelerator cable or ecc
wiring to get to earth, not good whilst cranking!!
