Buying gaskets/seals/bearings for st170

Having a bit of a nightmare.
Having stripped my st170 engine, I assumed it would be easy to find all the gaskets I wanted.

I don't want a complete set of top and bottom gaskets, besides it is hard to find a top set as the cam box gasket is different.
Bottom end I don't need the sump gasket as I have a CVH sump.

But it seems it is very tricky finding all the gaskets and seals (especially the cam seal fo the VVT) at a decent price. Even a water pump O ring seems to be £15!!

So any pointers on where to get stuff. Burton have some bits, but anywhere else worth a try.

Oh, and what thickness head gasket is standard? anybody know? (mine measures at 1mm but that is uncompressed)

It is easier to get stuff for a 50 year old Triumph! (maybe they need more rebuilds....)

Cheers
Clive

Hi.

We are running a ST170 race motor. And yes it's a pain to get anything. The only parts i have been able to get aftermarket is a rocker cover gasket. ( PAYRC 7383 ) everything else is ford dealer. For upgrade on spark plugs try NGK LTR7X-11.

Cheers Matt

Hmm,that isn't great. Especially as so much stuff is shared with the "normal" blacktop.
Guess I will end up with a few spare gaskets.....and a smaller bank balance
