nissan qr20 rngine, manual vs auto
Anyone know about this engine, 2.0 petrol as fitted to xtrail circa 2002.
Is there any difference between that fitted to manual and auto gearbox? Maybe different flywheel?
More concisely can engine from auto vehicle be fitted to replace engine in vehicle that has manual gearbox?

If will certainly have a different flywheel as the auto will have a torque converter rather than a clutch.
There can be other differences depending on spec such as cruise control. No doubt the block and head will be the same though. If it came to it, with
both engines on the floor/bench it's easy to swap bits from one engine to the other anyway.
