I am faily sure the MK2 was metric, my capri ones were M10x1.0mm offset, not the type of size that you normally have in the bottom of your toolbox

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Just tried an M10 x 1.25 and i think i may have threaded it a bit, Opps !

I was impashont (bloody crap at spelly so thought id spell it foneticaly) and it felt alright, the thing is it has got some paint in it which really we need to clean first and know for sure whether its going in and not just a bit firm because of the paint.

STupid i know but i like to get a job and hate it when you get stuck half way.

I think im gonna go and ask my local parts man for some bolts and let him find out.

How can i define what diff i have as bought from ford parts company and couldn't really be sure if mk1 or 2?

Fine thread M10x1.0

The ones on my Capri axle are anyway.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
