If its DOHC then its neither a pinto nor a x-flow. Just a DOHC surely?

DOHC is a direct development of the Pinto, but it is not a Pinto.

dohc engines were a replacement for pinto,in the opinion of most peeps its about as usefull as a chocolate teapot, use pinto (single o h c ) or x flow

Yes, on a pinto the exhaust exits on the drivers side, right hand side in our country, sorry and on a x/flow(cross flow) it exits on the passenger side !,
Hope it helps

Jason
