Weber install
Hi folks. Struggling to post pictures so i hope the links work.
Im trying to install a weber on my 1300 xflow but im not 100% on the pluming.
On the first picture what are the electric connectors for?
and on the second where ive circled red i assume that is the fuel in but should the left side be blocked off? and is the green circle an overflow or
return pipe?
Ive only messed with 2 stroke bike carbs before but this appears to be a little more complicated.

Green is vacuum pipe
Red is fuel in and block the other
I think the electric connector is electric choke
Don’t know what the other connection is for

thanks. So for the return do i just need a t type connector between the pump and the fuel in that returns to the tank? im using the standard pump.

Think you will find the electrical connection is for the idling circuit , needs an ignition live. Without it the engine will not idle

Thanks guys. So the left Is choke and the right is idle? And the idle just connects to live ignition? Where does the choke connect to as there seems
to be a manual choke also. And do I need a fuel return or does the standard pump self regulate the pressure.

Yes its the anti run on valve, it cuts the idle circuit when the ignition is switched off.

It may just be the picture, but you must fit the 10mm black spacer between the carb and manifold, as if not the fuel will boil in the float chamber,
and flow out the top breather, and on a xflow, were is the distributor ?
Yep directly under the carb, brilliant 1960's design NOT
Ive had this problem, but not on the carb you are using, i has a 28/36dcd weber
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

Yes its floating around the garage somewhere. Wasn't sure if i needed it or not. I'll be sure to find it once the carb has had a clean.
What fuse should i put on the lives to the carb?
Only thing im not sure on now is the fuel pressure from the standard pump. Do i need a return line?
