Keep 4age? or drop in a K24?
Gents,
I'm looking for some advice or points of view regarding my car. For sometime now I've been running a 4age 16v in my old classic ford
without issue, but recently I've been thinking is it time to swap, or rebuild.
The car will shortly be coming off the road to have some new bodywork and paint, so this seems to be the best time to ask 'do I spend a little
tuning the engine up? or spend probably the same amount dropping in a Honda K24?'.
I've been arguing both sides, but wanted to open the question to the floor.

I fancy a k lump.
I had a civic type R come past me yesterday and it sounded like a bike engine.

The K20 and K24 spin the correct way. I think it was the earlier Honda engines that ran 'backwards'.
I've got a K20 with all the bits (dry sump, Rx8 gearbox etc) to go in my Fury when I get time.
They are a tall motor though!
