Starter Noise

Hi all,

Span my engine over today, without then with plugs. Not trying to start up.
Starter didn't sound 100% right. Like I used to hear from Renaults that had bushes to locate them on the Bell housing and not lined up.
Span over fast as expect.
Anyone else had this?
Brand new fly wheel and brand new starter.

Cheers!

Did you bench test the starter before fitting?

Ensure it's very firmly clamped in a vice before putting 12V to it though!

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

I haven’t fitted a Zetec to type 9 myself but doesn’t the ally section of the sump need to be relieved to allow the starter to fit correctly?
