Sealing stainless mesh
I have just purchased some 10mm hole 1mm wire mesh to put in front of the radiator. This will replace the perforated mesh in the nose cone but will
sit further back allowing greater air flow to the radiator. any solutions to "sealing" the edges to prevent the wires coming apart?

I'd cut it to shape so it fits snugly inside the nosecone just in from of the radiator. Then run a bead of Tigerseal (PU sealant) arounf the
edge of the mesh. That will hold the mesh in place. The edges of the mesh will be stuck in the sealant and won't come apart.

If you have access to a sheet metal folder, fold the edge of the mesh back on itself like you would putting a safety edge on sheet metal, this will
bind the edges together.
If you're bonding in place, as nick says the sealant will stop the mesh fraying anyway.

Fixing it with sealant also avoids having to make any fixing holes in the nosecone or fabricate any brackets to hold it to chasis (dead handy if it
just lifts out of the way with the nosecone too).
