Prep pinto head for new carbs and photo upload trial

Head off for valve lapping and prep for ZZR1100 carbs. Ditching Weber 32/36.
This is also a trial to see if photo uploads

Had problems getting engine to idle and run on the Weber 32/36. Did a partial rebuild and clean, still wouldn't idle proper. Did a compression test and cyls 2 & 3 were really low. After removing rocker cover, 2 & 3 inlet rockers were hanging off because the adjusters were slack. Got me wondering what else had not been done properly by last owner so made the choice to remove the head to see what was going on. Head gasket looked okay but valves looked gummed up with carbon and oil. Going for complete refresh now. ZZR1100 carbs turned up in the post today, but have a few parts missing that will slow progress again. Good winter project as won't be putting car through IVA until spring now.
