xflow and type 9 - clutch?
Hi
this has probably been covered loads of times, but i have a 1600 xflow engine, and a type 9 gearbox. i need a clutch that will fit the two together.
which clutch fits (ie off which car)

I *think* it's a sierra 1.8 CVH, but can't guarantee that.

As far as i can remember, you can use an early 1600 sierra clutch, the original release arm and a new mount for the clutch cable, depending on which
plate you use , you may need to cut it a bit to accommodate the starter ;-)

Think I used an early 1600 Sierra clutch assembly but it has been covered before so probably worth doing a search?. Don't recall having any
problems with starter motor as it's on the opposite side to the clutch operating lever

7.5" Sierra 1300/1600 4 speed clutch must be for gearbox type with removable bell housing this is also the same as early 5 speed 1600
Sierra.
same driven plate was used in the Hillman Avenger/Talbot Sunbeam
