engine tuning

With only weeks until stoneleigh, I have decided to step up a gear and get the engine tuned/rejetted so I can take the trip in the car.

Problem is there are loads of people in the yellow pages who claim to tune engines. (who to trust??)

Does anyone know a good place in or around the Nottingham area??

Many thanks

Mark

Mark, may help if you let us know what your set-up is and what you see as issues.

I was going to buy jets for the dellorto 40s i put on my 1600 xflow, but after reading number of books and looking at the websites there are that many conflicting answers to jet sizes that I feel i'd be waisting my money. so i thought sod it i'll get it done by a pro. not many pro's want to know though. and then the ones that might do it don't really look like pro's (does this make sense??)

just want it setting up

Have a scan throu the yellow pages and ring a few. As Jon says. Use one with a rolling road as they will be able to set it up better.. May cost a tad more but well worth it imho. Cant remember his name, the chap with the Dutton had his done recently. He was well happy IIRC.
