Oops stupid carb question

Just changing the fuel filter actually in the bottom of my 38dgas, but I cant remeber which way it goes back in? Does the sealed end of the filter go in first or the end with the hole?

Sorted took the one out of a dgav I had lying round to see what way the was in. Open end first.
