Question: which way does the oil flow though the X-flow oil filter?

Is the sequence

pump > filter inner > filter outer > engine?

or

pump > filter outer > filter inner > engine?

I believe it's the first one - can anyone confirm?
I'm just trying to get my head around the oil circuit in my engine...

cheers,
David

Follow the arrows. Second one. Think it's pretty universal. I guess it gives a greater surface area on the inlet side so it doesn't clog easily
