My wife had a 1994 fiesta 1119cc.
Its single point injected. Basically an injector is in something that looks like a carb. If you take the air cleaner off, if I remeber, you will see
the injector poking down the carb intake.
It makes a whopping 50 BHP.
If you have a non catalist one I THINK they make 55.

Let's put it this way, I wouldn't rev your engine at anyone unless they're driving a steamroller!
My haynes says 48 bhp(din)
Roadhog!!
Cheers
Chris
Btw HCS stands for high compression swirl - basically a kent engine.
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I wonder if K and N really work or if its just imagination.
Lets say you had 20% more power - from an air filter? (no way) That would give you 60 hp!
Would go from 0-60 in 18 secs (std) to about 15 secs.
You wouldnt really notice that performance increase, and my fictional 10 hp extra would need cams and other tuning items.
A fiesta is a nice little runaround - I have had 4 in my family. If you want more power by something else, or put a 1.6 in it.
But you wont get 45mpg that way!

Steve.
How about nitrous oxide.........50% power (75bhp) and a shagged engine in no time - givce you a chance to fit that 1.6!

Steve
Take all the doors off and rip the seats out, and go on a diet and..........

I wouldn't get to hung up with insurance, try one of the specialist companies like sureterm or adrianflux you will be surprised I was. The difference
between a 1300cc crossflow and a 2000zetec was about 100 a year which is nothing and I am only a year older, go for the biggest engine you can get
just now and save yourself hassle in the long run.
