Emerald Launch Control
For those of you (including me) using an Emerald management systems, I phoned today and they are supposed to be launching (no pun intended) their
launch/ traction control add on to the software (FOC) in a couple of weeks.
I believe, but could be totally wrong that it's a programmable rev limiter that can be controlled by a simple button. That should be worth a few
tenths!
Regards
Wyn

Yep - a really dinky little thing. They had one at Autosport. Quite a bit cheaper, too
Basically does Sparks and Fuel.

How does it work without wheel sensors?

Yes there is a smaller Emerald ECU, called a K2.
It costs just £380+vat.
Traction control can be done by using rev climb rate eg.
If a car can't accelerate harder than 500 rpm in 0.25 secs then if the revs do rise faster than this the ECU knows that the wheels are
spinning!
Very easy to set up and adjust for any car.
Doug.
