Small Engine Mount Rubbers!

Help!

I need some engine mounts that are 15MM thick........ any suggestions? The current ones are 40mm and put the engine 1" too high in the chassis.

Can you not modify/redesign the rest of the engine mounts.

Landrover mounts are slightly thinner @ approx 36mm.

Escort mounts (mk 2 at least) have rubbers about 1" thick, but would need one side bounding to existing engine mount

something i talked about with james the other day..

if you're not keen to remake the engine mounts, another option is to cut out the plate on the chassis (assuming its on top of the 1" bottom engine bay rails) and re-weld it on the underside, hence making the engine/mount 1" lower..

Ned.

Thinking about it, I still have a pile of your engine mounts in my garage, remind me to give those back to you when you come over!
