HELLO FROM ARGENTINA!

Hi I'm Fernando, and i from Argentina!
I learn on this forum and i have some questions! (please i'm sorry my english is not very well!)
I want to know if the 2.3 16V LIMA of Volvo is an evolution of 2.3 LIMA engine of Ford cars, like Mustang 2.3, Merkur XR4 or Fairmont etc etc.
In Argentina we have the old Taunusses with the 2.3 LIMA engine, and we want a 16V cam for our old engines.
Can you send us the tech data with measures of Volvo engines?. My kind regards
Saludos!

The volvo 16 valve twin cam head is the only one I know of that will work on the lima--I wish it was otherwise as I am using a lima in my car.
This is a group that deals with the customizing of the volvo head and the machinework ect required to do so.

A properly build one of these could make even hicost say that is rediculous power.

Thanks

It fits but its not nessesarily easy unless you have access to a machine shop and have the skills. Its out of my price range but I am a cheap bas#$d. I think the going rate in the USA to have all the work done for you is in the 3-4000 usd range but can be done on your own if you have the skills and equip for maybe alittle over a grand. Still not bad to end up with over 400 hp - maybe way over depending on what you do.
