Fuel hose diameter (injection)

Hi,

I am about to buy some stainless steel braided fuel hose for my car but need to know what diameter is ideal for my engine (2.8i, runs Bosch K-Jetronic). Either 1/4" or 3/8" looks about right, will the smaller diameter do or would bigger be better?

Cheers,

Ed

Try and get it with BS mark or fuel hose written on or save some for the SVA man to see to prove its fit for purpose. Keep the reciept to and make sure it says fuel hose. Sounds picky but some SVA examiners want to check this.

8mm for me too, as zetec said, a lot of injection pumps are 8mm (5/16" ) outlet so makes plumbing easy.
