What are the avantages and disadvantages of using the DOHC engine fitted to the late Sierras?

Advantages - few! mainly that it is cheap....
Disadvantages - very tall, few tuning parts, some reliability problems, heavy etc.....

Advantages - cheap (included in my donor), cheap power (125bhp in standard injected form), newer than a pinto.
Disadvantages - as above.

Advantages ...fresh engine cheaper than a new headgaskit
