Is there a reason you need to get the engine running early?

I know it might be a long wait but if you can get it done once you have a rolling chassis you will get it to fit 100%. I took mine to be done at this point and it meant it was made just as I wanted with the brackets where I needed them and took the guy 3hrs and cost £350, complete in stainless with a repackable silencer.

Why not just get an old Ford exhaust manifold and cut a silncer off a car and rig up something basic if you really do need to get the engine running.

You need to know what triangulation your are planning too mate. If you get one and it goes through the chassis not the bonnet you will have problems.

It'll start without a manifold, just get some earplugs and don't do it when the kids are in bed. You could get a standard one from a scrapyard and just stick a front pipe and silencer on it without forking out hundreds that will be sat doing nothing for years probably.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
