Sierra engines
Hi All
Can anyone tell me the what the DOHC Sirra engine is?
Pinto based or what? and is it any good?

not pinto based, not many goodies about for it, my opinion, power for £, you'd get more out of a pinto as goodies are ten a penny.......but i may be

Hi
I've had 2 Sierras both with this engine. look fter the timing chain (not belt) and you'll get good miles. 125bhp out of the crate, heavy though.
This is the prefered engine swap for the capri club, not the pinto.
