zetec water temp

hi guys,

I am trying to find a location for a mechanical water temp sensor I have,

anyone know if the thermostat closes off flow to the heater pipes? Im not using a heater but thought a section of pipe plumbed in where the heater normally goes would be a good location?

If it did your heater would stop working when the stat closed.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

hi,

yes its a racetech type with a capilliary running to the sensor, cant put in the thermostat housing as it is too big and looks like it would foul the thermostat,

so heater pipe could be an option.

Thanks

Les
