emission levels

Hi,
I've the following problem.
I'm checking my emission levels, with a black top 2.0 Zetec engine, with an Alpha weber injections system with TB's from Alpha Weber.
I've the following levels
On idle:
CO: 0,037
HC: 1671
CO2: 3,95

By 2500 rpm
lambda: 1,8
CO: 0,053

With these levels It'll fail the SVA test (booked for 29-03) , what could be the cause?
The exhaust is air tight...

cheers JP

Suspect its running too weak . High lambda readings are sometimes also caused by a small leak in the exhaust. Lambda should come down when richened up . Check things like faulty HT leads , coil pack , spark plugs and air leaks which will all cause high HC
