Bike carbs and TPS
I have a set of ZZR1100 carbs that are fitted to my 1.8 zetec.
I need TPS for the Megajolt and am scratching my head how to achieve it as the carbs dont have one as standard. I was thinking of attaching the Ford
one to the throttle pedal but that doesnt look viable either.
Anyone done this before??

Do you have a nut on the end of the throttle spindle ? I have an adaptor that screws on to fit T.P.S. that I won't be using . You will need to
make a bracket

Theres no nut, just a push in plug and the end of the spindle is plain and 'under flush'

Steve - im thinking along the lines of rigging up a bracket with a pulley that is pulled by a cable attached to the carb throttle spindle pulley (it
looks like its designed for 2 cables). Spring to pull it back to rest position.
I was also wondering if the shaft could be drilled at the end and a spindle extension loctited in. Would be quite a small drilling though.
Other than that im at a loss as well.

Yep, I reckon a 4mm hole and 5mm tap but there's not much room at the end to attach the TPS. The one I have is off the Ford inlet and its huge
against the carb.
I'm taking the plunge and changing mine to R1 jobbies with Blogg Brothers manifold.
