Not sure about the physical differences but the MT75 is a much stronger box - good for around 400 bhp iirc.

Cheers,
Raz

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Oh yes it will

The box is slightly bigger.

What engine are you using ?
The Mt75 will handle more grunt.

To get mine in a bookish chassis I moved and changed a few bits.

If you're building to the Champion book then the MT75 might not fit, it's wider so you'll need to lose some room in the footwells.

It's stronger.

Has a integral bellhousing.

It's aluminium cased (lighter ?)

I'm not sure (someone who knows will correct me) but I think the box needs a different type of prop too, the box doesn't have a sliding input like the type9.

I've got an MT75. The only real down side is that you will be stuck with the ratios it comes with, not a problem for my set up, but if you wanted to change to a close ratio or higher first gear ratio then you will need a type 9 and a few hundred £.

What engine are you using?
