have any of you nice lot here, used anyone to build an exhaust for you when they can't have the car?

i was thinking of building a jig with the exhaust manifold cut down to a flange and welded to a mock up of the side rails.

i need a manifold, cat and silencer.
It's need for a zetec

I put my engine in the chassis, fixed the header flange in place, supported it externally, removed engine, tack welded the supported header flange to a support on the engine side, removed the other support and took the chassis to the header shop on the roof of my tin top.

See my build diary no. 8. The whole process worked OK but it is definitely better to have the header built in situ closer to the completion time as you have more time to change the engine placement.
