Fuel Pumps

Hi all!

I used to run a red top electric fuel pump which worked fine though a little noisey!

I decided to change the pump to one of the solid state ones, I changed the pump and ran at donnington park and found on fast corners it was like i was getting fuel starvation.

I was just wondering if any one else had encountered this with the solid state pumps.

Thanks in advance

Gary

Oh yeah it's a 1.3 x/flow running in the 750mc championship.

hmmm, no that's a bit of an odd one.

Only thing I can think is that you have actually always been getting fuel surge/starvation, but on the old red top pump, the filter space at the end held enough fuel to cover the splutters?? (the end of the pump has quite a big cavity in it with a gauze element in it)
