ok, so with bike carbs that would mean new jets?

forgot to say manifold and carbs from bogg brothers what stated they were more or less set up for a zetec,
could it be ignition?

Air leak between carbs and manifold or manifold and block.

Either that or ignition timing miles too far retarded. Have you set the MJ up properly?

did definatly have an airleak to start with
as it was making a whistling noise, so changed inlet manifold, so i guess look for airleak where carbs join manifold?

have got megajolt up and running, using tps. have set the tps bins using the calculator, when running , all works, tps and rev counter readouts work, and red square moves to show ignition advance.

have a map downloaded from megajolt site, dont really know what else to do?

ok, have balanced carbs, checked for air leaks- nothing found, ignition is fairly standard map, timing light shows megajolt working

only thing i have found is exhaust leaks where the 4 branches from the engine go into one, and again where that section goes into the silencer- have realised that i didnt put any sealant on these joints,
before wrestling the exhaust off, could this be the problem?
