brake pedal location
!! edited to make more sense.!
how is the limit of brake pedal movement usually done?
I have sierra master cylinder with push rod attached to pedal as I have shortented the push rod, I want to be 110% sure that when the pedal is pulled
towards me the push road cannot fall out of the master.
I don't think I have a problem but you cannot be too safe wehn mcuking round with brakes.
so how is this usually done?
Until I moved the pedal forwards, a metal bar that was part of the peda; box did this - I am thihking of attaching a pad or metal stop to keep the
pedal from coming back too far. There is spring that pulls on the pedal so that there is no change it pushes on the brakes just what to do to limit
the travel of the peadl coming toward me.
hope that makes a bit more sense.

Perhaps drill a hole in the front of the master cylinder for a split pin? Then a bolt placed to limit pedal travel forwards.

In the Indy pedals there is a little bit at the bottom of the peddle to pop a bolt/nut as a forward rest
