Bell Housing To Gear Box Torque
Hello
Can anyone tell me the torque rench setting for the bolt which hold the bell housing on to a type 9 gearbox.

These are the figures from my Sierra V6 Haynes manual with the Type 9 box:
Bell housing to gearbox = 70-90Nm (52-66lb/ft)
Bell housing to engine = 40-51Nm (30-38lb /ft)

it's at the high end of the scale on your torque wrench where the numbers stop.
It's marked FT.

I have had problems with FT i have found FT can = brocken bolts.

Well worth checking out just how much torque you can apply to some bolts.
