Zetec to T9 (the holes)
Yeah I know it´s been asked before to fit a zetec to T9.
But I can´t find answers how to do with the big holes (gaps) that is on the sides when the two of them are together. I don´t want all sorts of dirt
and stuff in to the clutch.
If you have a solution, please attach a pic if you have it.
Tried searching but came up with nothing

I think you need to search for a blanking plate.
Some people sandwich a thin (1 or 2mm) piece of aluminium sheet cut to shape between the engine and bellhousing. This will blank the gaps and stop
anything getting into the cluth assembly.

Use the type 9 plate and weld bits in, thats what I've done with an MT75 to P3 Zetec.
What starter are you using? I'm having real problems getting one to fit?

I'll second the "weld the original" plan, I made one from scratch from 1mm steel sheet. Was a PITA...

I used the Pinto back plate with a piece welded in where the Zetec starter usually goes.
For a starter you need one off a 1.8 CVH Sierra or a DOHC.
I got mine new off ebay fr a reasonable fee.
Summer's here!!!!
