2L zetec flywheel

hi all is it possible to use the standard 2.0L flywheel when using a type 9 gearbox to a zetec.

Its too thick for the type 9, brings the clutch too far forward.

Get a 1.8 flywheel or a lightened steel one.

ive been trying to get a 1.8 one i went to the scrapyard but if i wanted one i would of had to take the gearbox off a car.
ill see if any are on the bay for sale.

It will fit

I`m using the standard 2.0 zetec flywheel & clutch in my type 9 box, again standard bell housing and it does fit. I`ve now driven 800 miles on this set up using a release bearing from a Ford Transit.
