Mega Jolt / Mega Squirt

Anyone got any info on where I can buy this in the UK. The sites for the mega jolt i keep finding are for US.

I can't actually even find out who makes the Megajolt product.

Looking at running a 1600 16v Corsa engine on R1 carbs and need a product that can control the dizzyless ignition system.

bill@shurvinton.fsworld.co.uk

sells (or at least used to) kits for the Megajolt as well as ready-made ones for the soldering-phobic.

I think the kits were about 40 quid, the ready-made ones just over 100.

Sometimes takes a little time to answer e-mails as he gets quite a few!!

If you work out the current $ : £ exchange rate, the ones from the US of A come in at quite a reasonable price. Even when you pay some duty and VAT, it's still quite reasonable.

Autosport Labs

The components are good quality and the instructions are very clear (shown on the site). If you've ever done any fine soldering then this should be quite easy - just be sure not to overheat the components, and take care when handling the chips.
