what needle valves for weber 45's for xe??

Just wandering what needle valves I should order with a weber service kit for my xe conversion
standard in the kit are 175's
but they do 150,200 ,225,and 250???
the carbs have 36 chokes in at the min and are
set up for a pinto , but i want to have a go at stripping, cleaning and rebuilding them over the next few weeks ,
they are looking a bit tired!

I would welcome any advice re other xe and weber 45's set ups too.
cheers,
Greg

I am by no means an expert so anyone that knows better, feel free to disagree......
From reading various forums and gatering information on real world applications.......

Choke 38mm
Main 155 or 145
Air 170 or 155
Slow run 60F8
Pump 35 or 40
Emulsion F16 or F11

With the floats set to 12-13mm

I'm not 100% sure what everything does at the mo as I'm still learning.
Are your 45's the 152G? (the ones with the 4 progression holes)

175's should be fine......As they are expensive to replace...If you can order them with 200's then do that....but don't worry too much....

36mm chokes will also be more than enough.....As for the jetting, time to down load the 'Dave Andrews' jetting program which will put you in the ball park......But a good rolling road session is in order.
