LT77 oil Pump

Anyone know if it's possible to put a pressure switch on the outlet of these pumps.

Cheers

I'm confused...The lt77 is the gearbox so why put a pressure switch on it . Also Its internal so how do you get at it?

Paul.

further investigation leeds me to believe there is a threaded plug at the rear of the box that can be removed to test the function of the oil pump. It could be possible to fit an adaptor here for a pressure sender !! or drill and tap it to fit a switch but not sure what pressure to expect.

Cheers for that Paul, my recent gearbox failure has led me to investigate how to keep an eye on the usefulness of the gearbox oil pump.

It failed because of lack of oil, the lack of oil arose because the plug that was the speedo sender came off (had been giving it lot's of wellie) and emptied the oil unknown to me along the underside of the car on the journey home.

Might just stick a pressure sender onto a remote gauge to see what I get.

Cheers
