followin on for my recent what engine to use topic i was wondering is ther any reson why you cant use a 2.0 vauxhall ecotec type engine as there
peanuts well just been given a vectra with one in

No problem with using these. The Carlton or Omega manual box will bolt up to them, or you can shell out and buy a bellhousing to mate them up to a
Ford Type 9.
Not a particularly common choice compared to the Zetec, or the more powerful Vauxhal 20XE engine.

You'll need a cat on it though as you can't prove the age to be pre cat
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
