Ford transit engines
I know that the Pinto was available in the transit van of many years ago but i have just read an article that reviews the new generation of transit
van engines.
3.2 liter diesel producing 200hp and a whopping 470Nm of torque
Maybe this will find its way into sevens of the future owned by ford diehard fans.......................

PPC are building a diesel westfield ATM, I think we need to look for a high tech ally block diesel possibly with an auto gearbox to maximise the use
of a low rev range then we should see a 7 fly!

I bet it's heavier than a Pinto though
200bhp from 3.2 litres is not a great return on cubic capacity and that amount of torque (turbo induced at that) would put a 7 into a flat spin
towards the nearest hedge.
