removing a accusump

Hi all, I have to remove my accusump due to it not hold pressure but I don't want to completely remove it.

Ideally I want to leave the oil feed pipe from the engine to the manual valve connected as to remove it will involve draining the engine of all fluid and removing the complete exhaust.

So my question is is there any issues with having a 500mm length of oil feed pipe from the engine being blocked/capped to avoid total removal?

Thanks

Jools

Can't see why not! There'll be diddly squat flow though it so no problems!! Unless the oil pump has a seperate stage to drive the accusump in which case you'll stall that oil drive leading to diddly squat oil pressure!!! Which would be bad...
