With a friction plate the only thing that really matters to the engine is the diameter. The type of central splines will depend on the gearbox you
want to use. Sorry can't give you a yes/no answer but if the diameter is right and it fits your 'box input shaft it should be fine.

My issue is a strange one really - I have got a zetec motor / type 9 combo for my robin hood and the friction plate I got with the zetec clutch wont
fit the type 9 input shaft (the type 9 shaft is much bigger) However I have a 1.8 duratec powered mondeo and am wondering how the mondeo gearbox
input shaft compares to the escort gearbox input. Any ideas??
