V8 EFi wiring.....HELP!!!!

I have a 3.5 efi V8 from a 1987 range rover, it can with wiring and ECU, any ideas how I wire it up so it will run? any pointers welcome as I don't fancy paying out for new carbs etc. By the way I'm crap at electrics so please try and keep it simple.

Its really simple..... Yes it is if the loom is complete, three wires only required + coil input.

You should have a load of wires with plugs that go around the engine, from this lump 1 single wire that goes to the coil.

Half way back a large plug that the resistor pack goes into and a multiplug, then at the far end a few relays and the ECU.

On the multiplug mentioned above you need a continous live, switched live and earth, Bob's you uncle and fanny's yor aunt !

I cannot remember the pinouts on the multiplug, a red and a couple of whites maybe.... have a look at a wiring diagram.

Regards Mark
