Xflow oil

Hi there, done a search but got bored trawling. Can anyone tell me what oil for a 1600 xflow. Running lightened flywheel and road/rally supersports high lift cam if that makes any odds.

Cheers in advance.

Hi Valvoline 20/50 racing. Hundereds of people in motorsport swear by it for that and pinto applications.

Cheers Matt

Xflos require an oil with a lot of detergent, also they have a cold starting problem so a quality 10w/40 is a good idea, a 10w/50 is better.

I asked the guys at Millers Oils about this and they recommended good old 20/50.

The engine does take some cranking when the weather's really cold - a decent, well-charged battery takes care of that.
